Oblique Shoes

Definition: An oblique shoe refers to the shape of a shoe that will accommodate a wide forefoot, a foot shaped as an oblique shoe is, or a square forefoot.

This shape shoe is commonly seen in Europe but is not easily found in the US market except by those who deal in therapeutic shoes. Finn Comfort is one brand that has many oblique styles.

Benefits: Many people have feet that fit nicely into these kinds of shoes. Pedorthists offer a special service by watching for the foot type and making these shoes available.
