Definition: Sometimes called “healing” or “edema” socks, oversized socks cover when there is extreme swelling and/or bulky bandaging. They are seamless and non-binding. They come in sizes, being oversized in height of the foot and at the ankle and calf, not in length of the foot.
Benefits: Oversized socks are necessary for some foot conditions and after some surgeries. They are seamless to prevent pressure sores. Some come in an antimicrobial finish.
