Definition: EvenUp is the name of a product that equalizes leg lengths when wearing a cast or healing boot on the other foot. It is lightweight and attaches to the shoe on the uninjured leg. Cam walkers and other healing shoes create a difference in leg length. The cam walker sole is thicker, higher and is a double rocker sole. This raises the injured leg higher than the uninjured and the soles themselves are different, throwing gait off even more. In a very short time, there can be problems in the other limb from walking unevenly.
Benefits: Avoiding additional problems or injury from compensating on the uninjured leg is possible with this product. It is lightweight and attaches easily over any shoe.
